A WAY TO B is a site-specific cross media project (video/art/theater/performance), situated in a hugh empty underground parking space. It deals with the thoughts and feelings of a suicide terrorist just before committing his final act.
His monologue takes the audience by the hand, showing his motivation, thoughts, feelings and dreams. The audience also experiences the extensive underground space and finally ends up in a vastly claustofobic room. Big contrasts and a very personal theme reveal the ‘Hidden City’.
a way to b was produced for the Architecture Theater Route ‘The Hidden City’. Nine different locations in the city of ‘s-Hertogenbosch, the Netherlands, showed interventions made by invited architects, theater makers and artists.
